The Lost Hospitals of Birmingham, self-published and Kindle 2017. This forthcoming book explores the old hospitals of Birmingham from the perspective of genealogy and social history. Birmingham's current hospitals all warrant inclusion because of their history and/or earlier institutions which were located on the same site. To assist genealogy and family history research I provide links and references to archived records held by the National Archives and elsewhere, including an overview of these collections.
